In these troubling times, perhaps the most important question we find ourselves asking is… who should the X-Men’s Jean Grey truly be with? Scott Summers–Cyclops–the first X-Man and the team’s stoic leader, or the Wolverine himself, the enigmatic bad boy Logan.
While multiple X-Men writers have tried to answer this question for decades, and we even debated it here at AiPT!, fans continue to wonder. And when given the chance, one fan at FAN EXPO Boston’s Q&A with Famke Janssen, the first actress to portray Jean Grey on the big screen, asked who she, personally, would prefer to be with.
“What… to get married to, to have children with, to go dancing with?” Janssen asked. “That’s a tough one because I think Cyclops would be the safe bet. He probably wouldn’t cheat on you. He’d be at home, he’d cook you a meal.”

Oh, Famke, clearly you haven’t been keeping up with your X-Men comics…”And, you know, Wolverine is probably going to be a little wilder… and we would have a great time together,” Janssen continued.
No doubt feeling tremendous pressure to make the right decision, Janssen took the democratic route and asked the audience to raise their hands if they preferred Cyclops. The response: laughter, a smattering of handclaps and, by Janssen’s estimates, a total of five hands in the air.
