Welcome back to the official AiPT! Comics podcast where your host David Brooke and guest host JJ Travers discuss their favorite comics of last week, news, their most anticipated books out next week.

This week we have special guest David Pepose on to talk about his new series Going to the Chapel from Action Lab Studios. We interview him about the book, talk about his writing process, and more! Plus, we play Superfight with Pepose and we determine who would win at jousting: Rocket Raccoon or Cyborg!

In the news this week we discuss Mayor Marvelo Crivella of Rio de Janeiro issuing a statement censoring and banning the 2010 Marvel Comics story Avengers: The Children’s Crusade from the city’s Bienial Do Livro book festival which runs from August 30 to September 8, Scott Snyder confirming the JSA team in Doomsday Clock and Justice League #31 are one and the same, Spawn #300 introduces She-Spawn, Image United dead is dead, Tom King hinting at Alfred not being so dead, how China tariffs may screw the industry, Tom Taylor hinting at his newest DC series, finally Gary Frank reveals the release date for the final issue of Doomsday Clock, and finally we review NYCC Marvel Panel lineup.
