On Monday, toy reviewer J Hernandez exclusively revealed Hasbro latest addition to the Retro Collection Line: A beautifully redone Symbiote Spider-Man.
We’ll post the pictures below, but Hernandez’s video review (also linked below) is really worth a watch. I had never seen anything from him before, but he does a great job showing the toy in various poses without saturating the entire review with commentary. What he does have to say, however, is both entertaining and highly informative.
As you can see, this figure features the same buck as the beloved Retro Collection Spider-Man that was released last year (which continues to elude me) along with a brand new head sculpt. It also comes with a pair web and splayed hands. It will be packaged on a retro cardback (which has not been revealed yet) and retail for $22.99 at some point during Spring 2022.
I never thought I’d need another one of these for my Spider-Man shelf, but that figure looks too good to pass up. It will also no doubt be included in Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Fan First Monday livestream next week. If this figure is an indicator of how things to come, then Monday should be another incredible day for Marvel Legends collectors.
