On Monday, Hasbro revealed another new Black Series figure for its Gaming Greats subline. This time it’s RC-1138 (aka Boss), leader of Delta Squad from the Star Wars: Republic Commando video game.
Obviously Boss and the other commandos have appeared in other canon Star Wars media (Scorch recently showed up in the first season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch), but they are still primarily associated with the fantastic video game where the team made its first appearance.
With Boss, we get the first Black Series figure in what’s sure to end up being a complete set of the whole team. They will also likely be GameStop exclusive like this and every other Gaming Greats figure is. While that means a $26.49 retail price tag (BOO!), at least we know they’ll be a heck of a lot easier to find than the exclusives from Walmart and Target.
No official preorder info has been released, but should be soon. Boss is expected to be hit store shelves (and your Clone Wars display) in Spring of 2022. Check out more pictures of the figure below!
