DC FanDome offers free ‘(Not So) Secret Origins’ character design tool

Design your own super hero avatar thanks to DC FanDome’s new (Not So) Secret Origins app.

DC Comics has announced today the launch of a new character creation tool called (Not So) Secret Origins. (Not So) Secret Origins arrives for DC FanDome, DC’s free, global virtual fan event featuring a live webcast and activities where DC showcases the biggest upcoming movies, games, shows, comic books, and more. (Not So) Secret Origins is available in 11 languages at www.dcfandome.com.

Here’s a direct link to the avatar creation page. For more on DC FanDome, check out the guest list info we learned earlier this week.

The character builder includes these basic avatars:

  • Gotham Knight

  • Kryptonian

  • Amazonian

  • Speedster

  • Shazam!

  • Atlantean

  • Clown

  • Lantern Corps

  • Mastermind

  • Martial-Artist

Fans can change the primary and second colors and choose between six body types, a variety of head types, accessories, and skin tones. Once a character is activated, they can be dropped into 10 different iconic settings from the DC Universe including Atlantis, The Batcave, The Batcave Monitor, DC FanDome, Fortress of Solitude, Justice League Meeting Room, Metropolis, Space Mogo Satellite, Themyscira, and OA.

Check out my first avatar try below. Yes, it’s purple!
