“There’s a Dragon in My Garage!”: interview with children’s science book author J.R. Becker

Kids’ book about critical thinking on Kickstarter through March 31!

J.R. Becker is back! The author of the Annabelle & Aiden children’s book series is seeking funding for his latest, There’s A Dragon in My Garage! through March 31. As fans of The Demon-Haunted World might guess, it uses Carl Sagan’s ad hoc “invisible dragon” to teach kids about critical thinking!

Check out AIPT Science editor Russ Dobler’s interview with Becker where they talk about his six other books that cover evolution, cosmology, and more, why he wanted to write this series, and what the reception has been like.

There’s a Dragon in My Garage! will be available in stores, but if you get in on the Kickstarter now, you can have your name and an image of your own child put into the book!

AIPT Science is co-presented by AIPT and the New York City Skeptics.
