Courtesy of Image Comics, AIPT can share the first issue of Hack/Slash: Back to School! Written and drawn by Zoe Thorogood, the series is excellent. Just take it from AIPT writer Justin Harrison, who said, “Thorogood deploys her formal mastery for a magnificent gut punch of a climax.” Plus, if you like what you read below, the trade paperback is out June 12th in comic shops!
Hack/Slash: Back to School trade paperback (ISBN: 978-1534397781, Lunar Code 0324IM194) will be available at local comic book shops on Wednesday, June 12 and independent bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, Indigo, and Waterstones on Tuesday, June 25.
That’s not all, Tim Seeley’s Hack/Slash series is getting a card game, officially titled Hack/Slash: The Card Game, which is available for preorder now. The fan-favorite “Slasher” villains from the series’ 20-year history will terrorize 1-6 players in a pulse-pounding deck-building card game that recreates some of the most beloved moments from twenty years of this fan-favorite series!
