Jeff Lemire reveals ‘JSA: Year One’ taking the team to the Golden Age

This 6-issue storyline will run through Issues 13-18 of ‘JSA’ at DC Comics.

Jeff Lemire revealed via his Substack today that starting with JSA #13, the team will be going back to the Golden Age in JSA: Year One. The new storyline “reveals the untold formative adventure of the heroes who will become The Justice Society of America!”

Lemire goes on to say:

This 6-issue storyline will run through Issues 13-18 and feature artwork by Gavin Guidry (who drew the “Times Past” story in Issue 8). I’m very excited about this new storyline. It’s a real thrill to get to add to the Golden Age legacy of these amazing characters.

So what’s JSA #13 about?

The first days of the JSA are explored as we see the formation of the world’s first super-team! “JSA Year One” starts here!

Expect more details soon!

The series has been a blast, but don’t just take it from me, read Diane Darcy’s review of JSA #10.
