April 18, 2018’s 5 in 5: The five comic books you should buy this week

Action Comics #1000. Nuff said!

We’re back with another edition of 5 in 5, where we go over what five comic books should absolutely be on your pull list this week. This week is one of the biggest in comic book history, including some book called Action Comics? That’s right, this week’s the week, as Superman’s original series hits its mammoth landmark 1,000th issue.

Some other great stuff is coming out this week too, so don’t walk away with only Action Comics! Marvel is crushing it this week with three books in our top five, including Star Wars: Poe DameronInfinity Countdown and Tales of Suspense. And IDW is rounding out the top five with another issue of the indie sleeper hit of 2018, Punks Not Dead.
