Rob Liefeld is, among many other things, known for his inexplicable affinity for pouches. A relic of the ’90s comic hero aesthetic, superfluous amounts of pouches adorning costumes has become a calling card for the infamous artist. Here in 2018, it looks like that’s being brought to its logical extreme with the introduction of The Pouch.
First shared on Liefeld’s Twitter account, The Pouch is a superhero made up entirely of…well, pouches. Liefeld says this is “the truest definition of ‘because you demanded it!’.” So this is all your fault, guys.

PORTLAND, OR, 05/30/2018 — Image Comics is pleased to reveal a very special Rob Liefeld variant cover to the #23 issue of Liefeld’s highly anticipated BLOODSTRIKE BRUTALISTS arc featuring story and artwork by Michel Fiffe (COPRA). This variant cover introduces an all-new character–The Pouch!
