Can this new character change everything for Barry Allen in ‘The Flash’ #75

The continued development of the many Forces is at work in this finale.

Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned. For more read the review.

Josh Williamson and Howard Porter’s “Year One” story arc in The Flash has been exciting and enlightening. To see Barry still wet behind the ears and excited about the fact that he can run on water is exhilarating and in today’s issue, his fight with the Turtle comes to a close. Looks like the same powers of the Still Force in some respect.

Given those green glowing eyes I wouldn’t trust the guy, but Barry seems to. Thankfully it appears Steadfast only wants to help Barry learn something very key. Something Williamson has been playing towards for a long time.

Unfortunately, Williamson doesn’t give the reader any answers right now, but there’s a promise for more to come. An explanation of how Barry’s role plays into the forces is a huge deal and most likely will either play out in Year of the Villain, or right after. That said, Josh Williamson and Scott Kollins give us a hint at what is to come.

That’s only a portion of the story though and I highly recommend you read the whole thing today!
