Back in 2019, NJPW wrestler Hiroshi Tanahashi said he hoped to open the “forbidden door” connecting AEW with NJPW. As of this week’s Dynamite, that door has been kicked down and lit on fire as KENTA attacked AEW wrestler and IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley, furthering AEW’s relationships with damn near every non-WWE wrestling promotion in the public eye. But what does this mean for Bullet Club, and its American offshoot, The Elite? On this week’s PTW Wrestling podcast, we talk about what this means for wrestling as a whole going forward.

Also this week: The Royal Rumble has come and gone, and we have our potential WrestleMania main eventers in Edge and Bianca Belair.
