Back in 2019, NJPW wrestler Hiroshi Tanahashi said he hoped to open the “forbidden door” connecting AEW with NJPW. As of this week’s Dynamite, that door has been kicked down and lit on fire as KENTA attacked AEW wrestler and IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley, furthering AEW’s relationships with damn near every non-WWE wrestling promotion in the public eye.
