This year’s Sundance Film Festival may have been the most unique ever. A combination of hybrid and in person events, this year the fest was more accessible than it ever has been before. AIPT was lucky to see many of the films that screener this year. This included feature films, Oscar favorites, new voices, short films, documentaries, and some of the most daring movies that will be released this year.
AIPT Movie Editor and movie contributor Regina Chavez Muir discuss the film they had a chance to see this year. They talk about a pre apocalyptic comedy, an early favorite for awards season, a pair of horror movies, and a documentary that was near to both of their hearts. The duo also talk about using the virtual platform for this year’s Sundance Film Festival and discuss what is next for them and AIPT.
This movies mentioned in this video are not a comprehensive list. All reviews and interviews can be found here on AIPT.
