‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ #6 will reveal the Origin of Grootfall

We’ll learn what turned Groot into a monster this September.

Marvel has released a teaser image for Guardians of the Galaxy #6 by Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Alex Lins, which reveals that the issue will “tell the untold story of how the Guardians fell apart and what changed Groot into the monster he is now”.

The rebooted Guardians series kicked off back in March, in an issue that AIPT’s David Brooke praised by saying it “works on many levels, bringing the sci-fi wham-pow only comics can achieve.”
