‘Batman’ #142 part 1 of ‘Joker Year One’ sells out and gets 2nd printing cover

‘The Joker Year One’ kicked off today and it appears to have already sold out.

According to Stefano NessiGiuseppe Camuncoli, and Alejandro Sanchez, Batman #142 has sold out. It’s the first chapter in the “Joker Year One” story arc. Batman #142 cleverly adds new wrinkles to Joker’s origin. You can read my full review to see what you’re in store for.

Copies of the 1st print run of Batman #142 are available at local comic shops while supplies last right now. The three-part series continues next week, with “The Joker: Year One” part two publishing on February 13 in Batman #143 and wraps up in “The Joker: Year One” part three publishing on February 20 in Batman #144.

There’s no word yet on when the second printing cover will be released, but it’ll likely be sometime in March.
