According to Stefano Nessi, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Alejandro Sanchez, Batman #142 has sold out. It’s the first chapter in the “Joker Year One” story arc. Batman #142 cleverly adds new wrinkles to Joker’s origin. You can read my full review to see what you’re in store for.
Copies of the 1st print run of Batman #142 are available at local comic shops while supplies last right now. The three-part series continues next week, with “The Joker: Year One” part two publishing on February 13 in Batman #143 and wraps up in “The Joker: Year One” part three publishing on February 20 in Batman #144.
There’s no word yet on when the second printing cover will be released, but it’ll likely be sometime in March.
