Marvel to kill the 2099 universe in July 2024

ANNIHILATION MARKS THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF MARVEL 2099!

Marvel Comics has teased the end of its 2099 line, which will happen starting in July 2024. The news comes via a teaser sent to the press, which you can view below. The initial universe was created in 1992, kicking off with Spider-Man 2099, Ravage 2099, Doom 2099, and Punisher 2099. At thirty two years old, it had a good run.

Details are scarce, but we’ll likely get more details in the coming days. Considering Punisher 2099 was seemingly killed in Symbiote Spider-Man 2099 #1, maybe even more of these characters will drop like flies before the summer starts.
