WWE NXT card: May 28, 2024
Ridge Holland vs. Riley Osborne
WWE’s official preview:
After weeks of frustration, Ridge Holland and Chase U’s Riley Osborne will collide.
Holland has aligned himself with Chase U after finding kinship with Thea Hail, but Osborne has not liked his involvement as Holland accident ly cost them several wins, including Hail’s qualifying match against Fallon Henley.
Since the two aren’t seeing eye to eye, the group sees a one-on-one match as the best action to work out their differences.
Michin vs. Tatum Paxley (NXT Battleground Qualifying Match)

Michin is back in NXT to become the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion, but the peculiar Tatum Paxley stands in her way.
Both Superstars showed out in the NXT Women’s Combine to earn a spot in the qualifiers, but only one of them will head to the Ladder Match at Battleground.
Kelani Jordan vs. Wren Sinclair

The next competitor in the Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match will be decided when Kelani Jordan and Wren Sinclair battle it out.
Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Jaida Parker, and Fallon Henley have all qualified for the opportunity to become the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion, and now either Jordan and Sinclair will join them.
Roxanne Perez’s Battleground opponent will be revealed

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will learn who will be her opponent at Battleground when she returns to NXT next week.
Ava has been none too pleased with the NXT Women’s Champion’s attitude of late, and after defeating SmackDown Superstar Chelsea Green a few weeks ago, Perez needs a new opponent.
Who will Ava choose to challenge for the title?
Sexyy Red comes to NXT

One of music’s biggest stars is coming to NXT when rapper Sexyy Red makes her way to the WWE Performance Center.
Sexyy Red has been a lifelong WWE fan and has posted about her love for NXT, including about NXT Champion Trick Williams, The Meta-Four, and more.
Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans vs. Gallus
WWE’s official preview:
NXT Champion Trick Williams has found backup in his fight against Gallus as Je’Von Evans will join him in tag team action against Mark Coffey and Wolfgang.
Since returning to NXT, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang have terrorized the NXT locker room with Joe Coffey already inserting himself into the NXT North American Title picture at Battleground.
The imposing group next turned its attention to the NXT Title, but they were met with serious resistance from the champion as well as NXT’s newest star, Je’Von Evans.
