Known for bringing the Marvel Universe to life in his iconic Mini Marvels, Giarrusso captures the adorable insanity of symbiotes in these fun-filled covers for all five issues!

New York, NY— June 21, 2024 — It’s the symbiote showdown of all symbiote showdowns as Eddie and Dylan Brock, driven by horrifying visions of the future, go head-to-head to be the one and only Venom in VENOM WAR! The latest milestone symbiote event will be written by current Venom scribe Al Ewing and drawn by superstar artist Iban Coello, who will also provide covers for the main five-issue series. Coello’s stunning covers will also be recreated by award-winning artist Chris Giarrusso in special variant covers. “We’ve been telling our intricate time-travel Tale of Two Venoms for a good three years at this point, and it was always going to end with the two ends of the story crashing into each other,” Ewing told Newsarama, who also shared an exclusive first look. “In terms of sharing the mantle… it’s been a long time since Venom was just Eddie Brock, and what makes this particular mantle unique is that gaining or losing the symbiote is never the beginning or end of someone’s story – just a new chapter in it. So I think it’s not so much about feeling a push for a definitive version as it is about knowing when to end one chapter and start the next.”
