WWE SmackDown is live tonight from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas! We’re just days removed from WrestleMania 41 and SmackDown has a new champion: John Cena. WWE’s last TLC Match saw Roman Reigns defeat Kevin Owens nearly five years ago at WWE TLC 2020.
All three teams have recently held the WWE Tag Team Championship, and animosity has increased in recent weeks.
Last week, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins put their title on the line against Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley until Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa arrived to cause chaos and stole the titles, resulting in the match ending in a no-contest.
The theft prompted SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to announce the return of this fan favorite matchup.
