One of the most celebrated novels of the last decade is about to get a breathtaking new look. The Folio Society has unveiled an exclusive illustrated edition of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, featuring exquisite artwork by Manshen Lo — marking the first time the modern classic has been realized through visual art.
Lo, known for her precise, cinematic illustrations and evocative use of color, captures the emotional and digital dualities at the heart of Zevin’s story — friendship, creation, and connection in an age shaped by pixels and possibility. Her seven original illustrations, including a luminous holographic cover, draw inspiration from the novel’s themes of creativity and play. Rendered in bold lines and rich hues, her work echoes the nostalgic beauty of early video game aesthetics while grounding the story’s emotional depth in human intimacy.
The edition’s holographic slipcase and silver-foil details mirror the shimmer of the digital worlds Zevin’s protagonists, Sam and Sadie, build together — a nod to their game Ichigo. The binding features the duo’s portraits, while Lo’s illustrated endpapers bookend the story with tender, cinematic snapshots of their shared journey.
Folio Society editor Sophia Schoepfer praised the collaboration:
“With vivid artwork by Manshen Lo and a brand-new introduction by Gabrielle Zevin, this Folio edition is a must-have for fans of the novel and readers of modern fiction. Beyond its gaming backdrop, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is one of the most heartfelt tales of devotion and creativity you’ll ever read.”
The special edition also includes a new introduction by Zevin herself, exploring how the book’s release reshaped her understanding of connection and storytelling in a hyper-digital world.
A luminous blend of art, design, and literature, this release cements Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow’s place as both a contemporary masterpiece and a collector’s gem.
The Folio Society edition of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow will be available for £65 / $90 beginning October 21, 2025, exclusively at foliosociety.com.
