#NCBD Pull This! August 29, 2018: The 5 comic books you should buy this week

The five books you absolutely must be reading this Wednesday.

After a week off, we’re back with another edition of Pull This! for all your new comic book day needs. There are plenty of great comic books worthy of your money this week, but naturally, it’s all about Wolverine’s return as Hunt For Wolverine: Dead Ends nabs our top spot. The miniseries leading up to this were…well, they were certainly comic books, but now that Wolvie’s back, we trust in Charles Soule.

Marvel also appears elsewhere in the top 5, but DC also makes an appearance with Red Hood and the Outlaws Annual #2 from Scott Lobdell and guest artist Clayton Henry. This is not your typical annual, and is a must-read for fans of the series.

IDW’s Black Crown imprint also appears on the list not once but twice this week. The excellent Euthanauts series continues this week, handling a very grim subject with surprising levity and delight.
