Young Justice: Outsiders season 3 trailer and release date revealed

After nearly six years the series makes its return on DC’s new streaming service.

Today DC Universe unveiled the trailer for the third season of their critically acclaimed animated series, Young Justice.

The third season for the once cancelled series was confirmed back in 2016 with the title of Young Justice: Outsiders, but fans have had to wait for DC’s new streaming service to come to fruition before the third season would be released.

The Outsiders line-up will feature a team consisting of Wonder Girl, Robin, Blue Beetle, Impulse, Beast Boy, Arsenal, Static, and three new characters: Spoiler, Arrowette, and Thirteen.

In addition to the new season, DC will be releasing “enhanced” episodes of the first two seasons of Young Justice. These will include commentary, interviews, and behind the scene insider information with DC experts like Sam Humphries, Bernard Chang, James Tynion IV and Young Justice art director Phil Bourassa, along with show producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti.

Young Justice: Outsiders season 3 will premiere on the DC Universe streaming service January 4, 2019. New episodes will be released every Friday leading up to the midseason finale, with four new episodes being released on January 25. The back half of the season will resume in June 2019.
