Shudder has a horror movie present for Mother’s Day

Shudder works with a familiar face on Mother’s Day.

Director Brandon Christensen is no stranger to Mother’s Day premieres on Shudder. In 2018, his movie Still/Born was first shown on the streaming horror channel. Christensen and Shudder will be teaming together again for Mother’s Day this year. Christensen’s latest horror film will be premiering on the channel on May 7. is about a mother who fears who son’s imaginary friend may be frighteningly real.

“When Still/Born premiered on Shudder on Mother’s Day in 2018, it was clear that they understood what the film was going for and allowed it to shine,” said Christensen. “With Z, we once again have a film about a tortured mother and father, diving into the psyche of what it’s like to have a child with a mind of their own. I’m thrilled to be teaming with Shudder and once again releasing a film on Mother’s Day, where we can both celebrate and terrify mothers once again.”

If you cannot wait until May 7, Christensen as released a horror short starting his two sons.
