Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea sets sail in 2021

A pandemic can’t stop Chris Jericho’s cruise ship.

The cruise industry might be on the verge of the collapse, and sure, we’re in the midst of a global pandemic. But is Chris Jericho about to let that stop him from having a rocking wrestling rager at sea? Of course not!

AEW’s Le Champion officially announced the return of his annual cruise today, Triple Whammy: Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea, making this the third time Jericho will take to the high seas on a boat full of crazed drunk wrestling fans.

Jericho’s third cruise will set sail from Miami and take passengers to Grand Bahama Island from February 1 through February 5, 2021 on the Norwegian Pearl cruise-line. Last week, Norwegian Pearl extended its suspension on all ships through the end of July 2020 following a CDC announced 100-day no-sail order. Cruise ships are a confined and crowded environment that are extremely poor places to try and practice social distancing, so it’s entirely possible that the ban is extended again through the month of August.

Chris Jericho will play Master of Ceremonies for the Triple Whammy event, with comedian Brad Williams as host and WWE-alumni Candice Michelle as Guest Cruise Director. The event will feature appearances by WWE Hall of Famers Bully Ray, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. Musical guests include Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy, and Christian rock metal band Stryper. More bands and wrestling guests/events will be announced as we get closer to the event.

Last year, AEW combined forces with Chris Jericho’s cruise and held an episode of Dynamite on the ship. The event was a huge success so it’s a safe bet that another episode of Dynamite will take place on Triple Whammy in 2021.

Fans can purchase their tickets via the pre-sale at ChrisJerichoCruise.com today. Tickets for 2 guests run from $849 – $1,435 per person. The premium tickets are already sold out, so don’t wait if you want a spot on the boat.
