In a press release sent from Vault Comics, the publisher has announced they will no longer be publishing Hundred Wolves from writer Myke Cole, following allegations of inappropriate behavior against him. Vault announced the title back in January for an April release.
The title was delayed due to the pandemic, and was going to be drawn by artist Tony Akins (Fables, Hellblazer, Wonder Woman), with colors Vladimir Popov, letters by Jim Campbell, and designed by Tim Daniel.
On June 23rd, Cole explained a woman had come out detailing her experience of inappropriate behavior from Cole himself.
A woman today shared her own experience where I made her feel unsafe and acted wildly inappropriately for what is in effect a work environment (at a convention bar). I am not tagging her for the privacy of the woman involved, but I am deeply humiliated and sorry. 2/

This comes after Cole apologized back in 2018 when another woman came forward, which Cole retweeted and shared again, “as it’s still germane.”
