Priming even more excitement for tomorrow’s SDCC virtual panel, HBO released a new full-length trailer for its upcoming Lovecraft Country series along with a beautiful title card/poster.

The trailer features a ton of new footage along with a much greater emphasis on the intersection of Jim Crowe-era America and cosmic dread.
Lots of great stuff in there, but can we stop and admire the elder god who appears at 1:59 for a second?
As awesome as that shot was, however, I think my favorite scene from the trailer was at 0:39 when Jurnee Smollett’s character Leti looks off a couple suspicious/racist white women like a total boss.
