If Knull is striking areas of space outside of Earth, what does this mean for the team? “Knull’s approach to Earth cut a bloody swathe through every civilization in known space – which makes for exactly the kind of high-stakes planetary rescue missions the Guardians are there to take on,” Al Ewing told us. “Frankly, if King in Black wasn’t happening, we’d have to invent something like it, and I’ve enjoyed getting my teeth into an out-and-out bad guy like the God of the Void – every so often, it’s nice to stack your heroes up against that kind of ultimate evil and see how they make out.”
