Pro wrestler Ben Carter has officially signed with WWE, the company confirmed on Twitter. Carter will be performing for WWE’s NXT UK brand.

Carter trained at Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, and has had many from the wrestling world singing his praises. Carter was a relative unknown, working independent shows until he got his big break in September when he took on Ricky Starks on AEW Dark. The match went over so well that he came back for a second match on Dark, this time defeating Lee Johnson.
Speculation obviously ran rampant that he would sign with All Elite Wrestling, but in 2020, travel to and from America is a concern, so NXT UK seems to be a better fit for the Jersey, UK native.
We will be watching Ben Carter’s WWE career with great interest, and hope this is just the beginning of great things for him.
