Simon & Schuster signs deal with AHOY and Heavy Metal

Even more comics publishers make deals with Simon & Schuster for global distribution.

Simon & Schuster has been very busy of late in the comics world setting up a deal with Vault earlier this month and this week finalizing a deal with AHOY and Heavy Metal. They also recently added AWA Studios to the comic book publishers they distribute for. This is a move from Diamond Books, which is a sister company to Diamond Comics Distributors.

The first wave of releases from Heavy Metal Productions will include collected editions of Dylan Sprouse’s Sun Eater, Dan Fogler’s Brooklyn Gladiator, and Fishkill, an enhanced second edition of CEO Matthew Medney’s bestseller Beyond Kuiper: The Galactic Star Alliance, and much more! Though announced March 16, Simon & Schuster will handle sales and distribution to the United States, Canada, and other international territories beginning February 1, 2021 for Heavy Metal.

For AHOY, their titles will be distributed in bookstores by Simon & Schuster as of March 2021. That includes their recently revealed fall lineup of collections which you can view below.
