It has been years in the making and what feels like longer waiting, but today we finally get a look at Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Announced for a September release in March, the film stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, alongside Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng, and Michelle Yeoh. In the film, Shang-Chi is forced to confront his past after he is drawn into the Ten Rings organization.
There are some elements that might seem familiar like beautiful gardens ala Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, massive battle scenes, and some training scenes in the snow.
