Marvel Comics releases ‘Marvel’s Voices: Pride’ trailer ahead of release

Marvel’s first-ever queer-centered special spotlighting Marvel’s LGBTQ+ characters gets a trailer.

Ahead of its release tomorrow, Marvel Comics has released a Marvel’s Voices: Pride #1 trailer. The anthology one-shot features 12 stories with various Marvel characters.

Following in the footsteps of previous Marvel’s Voices series, the comic marks Marvel’s first-ever queer-centered special spotlighting Marvel’s growing tapestry of LGBTQ+ characters.

New York, NY— June 22, 2021 — Tomorrow, Marvel Comics is proud to honor Pride Month with MARVEL’S VOICES: PRIDE #1, a celebratory showcase of LGBTQ+ characters and creators. This queer-centered one-shot will spotlight some of Marvel’s brightest LGBTQ+ stars and talent in a collection of thrilling tales from across the Marvel Universe. These stories of inspiration and empowerment will be brought to life by an assembly of writers and artists from all walks of life including Kieron Gillen, Olivier Coipel, Steve Orlando, Anthony Oliveira, Tini Howard, Vita Ayala, Kris Anka, and Javier Garrón. MARVEL’S VOICES: PRIDE #1 will also explore the history of LGBTQ+ inclusion and storytelling at Marvel Comics, including reprints of historic LGBTQ+ moments and more.
