Ahead of their March solicitations, Image Comics has announced Astro City: That Was Then… is headed to comic book shops on March 30th. From the creative team of Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson, Alex Ross, Alex Sinclair, and Comicraft the new and existing heroes and launches a mystery that will drive the forthcoming Astro City series. Astro City moving to Image Comics was originally announced back in October.

The new one-shot is also getting the deluxe variant cover treatment with variant covers by Erik Larsen, Marcelo Costa, Leandro Fernández, Jamie McKelvie, Chip Zdarsky, and Rob Guillory. That’s not all, each variant cover bring Astro City to other Image Comics properties.
