Marvel Comics has released a teaser for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man #900 issue which will feature new writer Zeb Wells and artist Ed McGuinness. Details are extremely scarce, but Marvel does promise to reveal more tomorrow. The teaser comes just a few weeks before Marvel’s full June solicitations are released as this issue will be released sometime in June.
That said, eagle-eyed readers might notice the teaser gives us some detail on the green villain Spider-Man appears to be fighting. This enemy appears to have traits of many of Spider-Man’s greatest rogues, including Sandman’s abilities, the clothing of Kraven, the feathers of Vulture, the arms of Dr. Octopus, and the mask of Electro. In fact, this villain’s right hand appears to be powering up some electrical blasts.
If you look very closely at that right hand you can also make out Mysterio’s gauntlets on the forearm. What we have here, then is a Sinister Six super combo villain!
To which longtime Spider-Man fans might wonder, “Is this some kind of ultimate amalgam villain with every Spider-Man villain combined into one?” It certainly appears to be the case.
Now the bigger question is, what do we call the Sinister Six combo villain? The Sinister Single? Silo’d Sinister? Let us know what you think in the comments!
