Dark Horse Comics has announced a new Stranger Things one-shot focusing on Officers Powell and Callahan. The one-shot is written by Keith Champagne and illustrated by Caio Filipe with colors by Dan Jackson and letters by Nate Piekos. It comes out July 6th wherever comics are sold.
The one-shot comes right in time for Netflix’s fourth season of Stranger Things as the show returns on May 27 on Netflix and then wraps things up with its final episodes on July 1.
So what’s Stranger Things Summer Special One-Shot about?
Officers Powell and Callahan patrol the “mean” streets of Hawkins Indiana with the enthusiasm of two hefty dachshunds pretending to be bloodhounds. Typically, they don’t have to chase down more than the occasional petty theft and teenagers smoking reefer but lately the town has been getting weirder, and while they might not get to the bottom of it, they just might be lucky enough to survive it.

Volume I of Stranger Things 4 premieres on Netflix May 27, 2022 followed by Volume II July 1, 2022.
