‘Black Adam’ trailer features Hawkman and more

The world needed a hero, it got BLACK ADAM.

Black Adam has acquired an official first trailer today. The trailer features Dwayne Johnson and incredible abilities and a slew of heroes who he’ll apparently combat. That includes Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate.

For the first trailer, we get a lot of information. For starters, it appears Black Adam is given his powers. We also learn he was a slave and lost his son. Losing his son and being a slave appears to be the motivation for his evil nature and while he doesn’t do a lot that’s quite evil in the trailer we do see him knock a kid clear out of a building and give lip to Hawkman.

Originally slated for July release, Black Adam will now premiere on October 21st.

It appears the slogan for the film is “The world needed a hero, it got BLACK ADAM.”

Black Adam has been in production for what seems like forever. It was first developed and then placed on hold in January 2009 but had begun again by April 2014. The film was then officially announced in January 2017.
