Mulder and Langley’s bad drug trip continues. Is it good?
The X-Files: Season 10 #20 (IDW Publishing)

Mulder gets led through a sexually charged, terrifying hallucination which (sort of) delves into the G-23 mystery while also cutting to the very core of his being.
Meanwhile, poor Langley just has a really scary (and somewhat funny) vision.
Is It Good?
Pretty brief recap, right?
To be fair, it doesn’t do the content justice—Joe Harris packs plenty of existential dialogue and odd moments. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end up leading to much beyond a few puns and some moderately funny moments. Humorous issues and arcs are fine, but they should still have a bit more plot than this.
On the plus side, Tom Mandrake’s art is a bit stronger this time around. One of the trippy pages with Scully in particular is as beautiful as it is terrifying.
But I’m definitely glad this little dose of X-Files Lite has run its course through our systems. Let’s hope that ‘Elders’ keeps us all a bit more lucid.
