The Usos are the best tag team in the world, according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated. The latest issue details PWI’s third and final ranking of the year, following the PWI 500 (which was topped by fellow Bloodline member Roman Reigns) and the PWI Womens 150 (which was topped by Syuri).
Teams were considered based on their performance between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022, and takes kayfabe into account, such as in-ring achievement, quality of competition, and influence on the sport.
During the evaluation period, Jimmy and Jey Uso won both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships and have had a strangehold on both tag divisions ever since, successfully defending both titles simultaneously as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. The team also surpassed longtime rivals The New Day to become the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history – as of this writing, The Usos have been SmackDown Tag Team Champions for 505 days.
