Courtesy of the official Invincible Twitter account we have our first look at season two of the much-anticipated series’ return. Fans have seasons two and three to look forward to, as Amazon renewed it for two more seasons last April. The teaser doesn’t give an exact date when it’ll return, but they promise it’ll be coming in late 2023.
The teaser features Seth Rogan as Allen the Alien and Invincible eating at a burger joint. It’s a suitable teaser since they recap what they’ve been up to, including a fourth-wall-breaking montage of the screenwriting and storyboarding they’ve been up to.
The first season was largely praised, over here at AIPT included, as the animation was clean, the adult themes robust, and the adaptation accurate.

At the time of renewal, Kirkman said he was “extremely thankful to Amazon for the support and dedication they’ve put behind Invincible. The comic book is truly a love letter to a genre that Cory (Walker) and I grew up reading and loving, and it’s been a gratifying journey to watch our characters come to life again through the animated series. We’re beyond excited to continue this story for at least two more seasons.”
