Marvel Comics has revealed the cover to Guardians of the Galaxy #3, which prominently features Groot screaming right at us. Marvel teased “Who or What is Grootfall” which makes us wonder if it’s a person or place. Why not both?
While the cover doesn’t come with the solicit text for the third issue, one can assume Groot is putting the rest of the Guardians through some kind of hell.
Marvel has been teasing the heck out of Guardians of the Galaxy’s new creative team and relaunch with a trailer just a few days ago. Written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly and drawn by artist Kev Walker, the new series launches into comic shops on March 12th.
