Welcome to a normal AIPT Friday and another edition of Fantastic Five! Our celebration of the week’s best comics presents five books from three publishers, including three #1s. Let’s get right to the books!
#5: Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #12
Lanzing, Kelly, and Erofeeva provide another stellar chapter in the Cold War saga and Sentinel of Liberty remains a series that hasn’t had a bad chapter yet.
#4: Titans #1
The Titans return as the top-class heroes who will protect us. Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott reunite to bring drama, action, and mystery to the Dawn of DC. As Nightwing says in this issue, “if the planet’s protection is in my hands, I’m going to need my friends beside me.” Titans Together, indeed!

#3: ‘No/One’#3
No/One continues from its debut issue in standout form, giving readers compelling characters caught up in a whirlwind crime-thriller mystery, with just a dash of super heroics. No/One might just be one of the best books on shelves today.
#2: Batman: The Brave and the Bold #1
When an anthology arrives that features multiple stories that could easily serve as solo series in their own right, you know you’re in for a treat. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is everything you want in an anthology and more. Heart, drama, ingenuity, and originality, Batman: The Brave and the Bold is a must-buy.
#1: Avengers #1
All told, Avengers #1 gets the team together, has them fight a world-ending villain, and gives readers a resolution. Add in the cliffhanger that ties into the last Timeless issue, and we have a great introduction to a new era of Avengers. It’s no small achievement.
