Marvel releases unpublished ‘Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel’ post-issue page

A first of its kind ‘post-issue’ page was revealed on Marvel.com today for ‘Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel’ #1.

Marvel Comics is mourning Ms. Marvel today via the Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel #1 one-shot, but there may be more to the story than you think. In fact, there is, as Marvel Comics has released a “post-issue” page on their website today. As of this writing a writer and artist hasn’t been listed crediting this page.

The page appears to pick up where we left off with a few characters at the end of Fallen Friend: The Death of Ms. Marvel. We see Wolverine, who was in the first story in the same clothes, and the Champions, who were in the second story.

Spoilers ahead for Ms. Marvel fans.

Check out the page below.

As you can see, the bonus page seems to confirm Ms. Marvel will return, as Cyclops knows something but isn’t interested in letting the other characters know yet.

It’s peculiar for Marvel to release this page like this and not simply add it to the comic. To my knowledge, this has never been done before. One might postulate it was a last-minute decision that didn’t make it into the comic before it was sent to print. Certainly, Marvel Comics hasn’t released a “bonus page” like this ever, so it’s a first.

What do you think, readers? Does this prove Ms. Marvel will return? Let us know what you think in the comments.
