It’s official: former TBS Champion and star of the AEW women’s division Jade Cargill is headed to WWE. According to ESPN, Cargill has signed a multi-year contract with the company and will be reporting to their Performance Center today. WWE confirmed the news via their social media.
It’s unclear if she will start in NXT or be catapulted to the main roster, but given her stature as one of the biggest stars in women’s wrestling outside of WWE, it’s easy to imagine her landing on Raw or SmackDown sooner rather than later.
Triple H welcomed Cargill to the company on X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter, calling her “a dominant athlete who’s here to change the game.”
