The game industry has grown leaps and bounds in the past 50 years, introducing many influential titles into pop culture. The new docuseries, Game Changers, explores the history of some of the most iconic games to have ever been played.
Over the course of eight episodes, learn about the not so known stories behind Nintendo, EA Sports/Madden, Blizzard/World of Warcraft, and more. And, it’s not only video games covered here as one episode focuses on the popularity of the boardgames Monopoly and Scrabble.
The series premiere of Game Changers airs Tuesday, November 5, on Discovery.
From Bollywood to Super Spies
In Citadel: Honey Bunny, Honey is a professional stuntman who recruits the struggling actress, Bunny, on a side gig. The pair end up training to be espionage agents. Years later, with each on separate paths, their dark past catches up to them and they must work together to protect their daughter.
The series is a spinoff of Citadel, an action show from executive producers the Russo brothers. It is directed by Raj and DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK), who also wrote the story with Sita R. Menon. A younger version of Priyanka Chopra’s Nadia from the original, appears.
Citadel: Honey Bunny premieres Thursday, November 7, on Prime Video.
Sisters on Opposite Sides
In the world of Arcane, tensions are high between the wealthy city of Piltover and the oppressed Zaun. When we last left the series, sisters Vi and Jinx find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict. Jinx feels they have grown too far apart, and unleashes an attack on Piltover.
With war on the horizon, season two will explore the darker sides of each character. In particular, the internal conflict within Jinx as she comes to terms with her actions and whether her relationship with her sister can be reconciled.
The first two episodes of Arcane season two launch Saturday, November 9, on Netflix.
