Starting this October, Marvel is shaking things up with Age of Revelation, a bold new event that jumps the timeline 10 years into the future. In this dystopian world, Apocalypse’s heir, Doug Ramsey, now going by Revelation, has built a mutant utopia that threatens to consume the entire Earth. Heroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and more must navigate a planet transformed by Revelation’s growing power.
The story kicks off with Age of Revelation #0, a surprise prelude issue arriving at select comic shops this week. The event officially begins October 1 with Age of Revelation: Overture #1, a one-shot from writer Jed MacKay and artist Ryan Stegman. From there, the X-Men line evolves completely, with new series dropping throughout the month.
