The Massive-Verse is heating up with big news: Rogue Sun #30, arriving this October from Image Comics, will spotlight none other than Todd McFarlane’s Medieval Spawn in a special standalone issue by Ryan Parrott, Nick Cotton, and artist Abel.
Not only is this a major crossover moment, but Parrott will also be revealing more details at the Massive-Verse panel on Friday at 10 p.m. in room 25ABC at San Diego Comic-Con. He and Cotton will join fellow creators Kyle Higgins, Melissa Flores, and Brian Buccellato for a signing at the Image Comics booth (#1915) later that day at 3 p.m.
“For a lifelong Spawn fan like me, this feels totally unreal,” said Parrott. “Todd McFarlane letting Medieval Spawn guest star in Rogue Sun is more than a dream—it’s something I never imagined could actually happen.”
Also launching in October is The Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game Starter Pack, a strategic one-on-one dueling experience where players can relive the Catalyst War storyline as Radiant Black or Premier. Along with this new set, a restock of the original card game will also be available at comic shops.
Rogue Sun #30 hits shelves October 8 with covers by Stefano Simeone and Abel, while the new card game Starter Pack arrives October 22. Both will also be available digitally and in select stores.
