Marvel unleashes 8 jaw-dropping variant covers by its next superstar artists

Marvel is shining a spotlight on its next wave of superstar artists with a special set of Stormbreakers: New Class variant covers, hitting shelves this October. Each of the eight newly announced Stormbreakers will showcase their unique style by illustrating Marvel’s most iconic heroes in creative poses that come together to spell “MARVEL25.”

This year’s Stormbreakers include:

• Alessandro Cappuccio (Moon Knight, Ultimate Wolverine)

• Netho Diaz (Daredevil: Black Armor, X-Men)

• Simone Di Meo (Champions, X-Men of Apocalypse)

• Juan Frigeri (Ultimates, Invincible Iron Man)

• Gurihiru (It’s Jeff, Jeff the Land Shark)

• Jonas Scharf (Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion, Dark X-Men)

• Geoff Shaw (Red Hulk, Wolverine)

• Luciano Vecchio (Spider-Verse Vs. Venomverse, Resurrection of Magneto)

Handpicked for their distinct voices, artistic achievements, and ability to redefine Marvel storytelling, these artists represent the future of the Marvel Universe.

First launched in 2020 as a successor to the Young Guns program, the Stormbreakers initiative has highlighted rising talent destined for greatness—alumni include industry legends like Jim Cheung, Sara Pichelli, and Ryan Stegman.
