This fall, writer Deniz Camp (20th Century Men, The Ultimates, Absolute Martian Manhunter), artist Eric Zawadzki (Heart Attack, House of El), colorist Jordie Bellaire (They’re Not Like Us, Birds of Prey), and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou (Time Before Time, Poison Ivy) launch a fresh, mind-bending chapter of Assorted Crisis Events with issue #6, arriving November 5 from Image Comics. Issue #5 was released July 29th.
“I am so proud of this work, and the way every member of the creative team elevates and interacts with each other,” Camp said. “It’s truly a special thing, and I feel the best is yet to come.”
The new arc throws readers straight into the chaos: are you or someone you love experiencing Retro Anterograde Temporal Diminishment—suddenly shifting between childhood and old age, forgetting names, dates, and even loved ones? In Assorted Crisis Events, time doesn’t play by the rules. Ordinary people face broken timelines, looping days, space portals, wayward travelers from different eras, and alternate versions of themselves—all while walking down the street.
“The work that Deniz, Jordie, and Hass are doing is magical to me,” Zawadzki said. “This comic is so fulfilling creatively and I hope we can keep this going for many years.”
With its mix of high-concept sci-fi and deeply human moments, the series continues to unravel the mystery of why time itself has fractured—and whether it can be put back together. Fans of Crisis on Infinite Earths, Black Mirror, and Doctor Who will find plenty to love.
“I’ve never felt more alive—this project is an absolute joy to read and create,” added Bellaire.
Assorted Crisis Events #6 will feature Cover A by Zawadzki (Lunar Code 0925IM0287) and Cover B by Marcos Martín (Lunar Code 0925IM0288). The first collected volume is available now wherever comics are sold.
