TMNT Tuesday #29: Exclusive first look at ‘Shredder’ #2 and ‘Casey Jones’ #2

Welcome back to TMNT Tuesday! This week, we’ve got something extra special for fans who can’t wait for more—an early look at the first six pages from two of the most anticipated follow-ups in the line: TMNT: Shredder #2 and TMNT: Casey Jones #2.

In Shredder #2, writer Dan Watters teams with artists Michele Bandini and Sid Kotian to continue the dark and dangerous journey of Oroku Saki. You can get your hands on it when it hits shelves on October 15.

So what’s Shredder #2 about?

The stunning new series continues! Following the trail of a dangerous Foot Clan soldier gone rogue, Shredder descends into New York’s underworld to meet with a secret crimelord who’s achieved mythical status in Shredder’s long absence. But the mysterious boss sees little reason to help the Shredder, who some claim is but a shadow of his former self. A huge mistake…

Over in Casey Jones #2, writer Alex Paknadel and artist Amancay Nahuelpan keep the adrenaline pumping in a street-level brawl for the soul of New York. Pre-orders for Casey are due October 13, with the issue going on sale November 19.

So what’s Casey Jones #2 about?

Before Casey Jones meets his brand-new enemy Ludovic, he’ll have to do battle with his best friend Raphael first! Casey is investigating the rumors of a phony mutagen hitting the streets and seeking out whoever is going after mutants on the street, knowing in his gut they are connected. But he’s soon stopped by Raphael, who thinks Casey is pushing himself too hard and not listening to his better instincts. Casey and Raph fight through their feelings before being stopped by Ludovic, who wants to battle them both.

And don’t forget these other key dates! Pre-orders for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 (Tim Seeley & Fero Pe!) are due October 6, while TMNT #13 by Gene Luen Yang & Freddie E. Williams II closes its pre-order window on October 20.
