Fans who missed one of Cult of the Lamb’s rarest collectibles are getting another chance to experience its haunting story.
Oni Press has announced Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim, an oversized hardcover graphic novel created in partnership with Massive Monster and Devolver Digital, and AIPT can exclusively reveal a preview of the upcoming release. Previously available only as a limited-edition companion to the Pilgrim DLC physical release, the sought-after graphic novel is now headed to comic shops and bookstores for the first time on December 15, 2026.
Set firmly within the continuity of the hit video game, Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim follows two travelers, Jalala and Rinor, as they search for a place to call home in the dangerous Land of the Old Faith. Their pilgrimage quickly becomes a fight for survival as they encounter ruthless cultists seeking sacrifices, terrifying monsters stalking the wilderness, mysterious mushroom merchants, and whispers of a bloodthirsty beast lurking in the shadows.
The graphic novel is written by JoJo Zhou, Head of Narrative for Cult of the Lamb, with artwork and cover by the game’s concept artist Carles Dalmau (Soma). The creative team brings the same distinctive visual style and dark humor that helped make the game a breakout indie sensation.
Rather than retelling the game’s story, Pilgrim expands the world through the eyes of new characters, making it an accessible entry point for newcomers while rewarding longtime players with another chapter set inside the universe of the Old Faith.
