The past week and a half have been odd regarding news of the DC Extended Cinematic Universe. DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson made comments that seemed to suggest that the shared universe may be downplayed in future DC films. A few days later while responding to a question on Twitter, co-runner of the DCEU and co-chairman of DC Films seem to refute that when stating that DC Films would be “100% connected.”
One movie that has always planned to be a part of a greater DCEU is the upcoming Justice League. With a little more than a month before the movie’s planned release, a new trailer was released earlier today. Along with some new scenes of the heroes battling evil together the trailer heavily teases Superman’s involvement in the movie. Hopefully, the movie is better than the cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” featured in the trailer.
Justice League hits theaters November 17th.
